I can't breathe.
One of my friends died Sunday night. Leaving behind a husband and a son the same age as Eldest Daughter.
How could this be? Forty-somethings don't die of heart attacks and leave behind friends and family who expected to grow old with them.
I have to pull myself together.

We went thru this a couple of years ago, losing 2 family members and a dear friend all in their early 40's and within a 4 month period.
I still walk around with a numb feeling at the loss of three dear people.
My heart breaks for you and the family of your friend.
Oh Leslie. That is heartbreaking for that family and everyone else who was touched by your friend. It is difficult to make sense of the loss of someone so young.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
I am sorry. Too much of this lately.... There is so much more living to do at our age...
So sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain of her dear family.
